Non-renewed Licenses have Lapsed!

The State Board of Registration has proposed legislation this year. The legislation encompasses many different subjects from eliminating the 12-year mandatory expiration of all EIT or LSIT certificates to clarifying what business entities must have a Certificate of Authorization. The bill also updates the language in Chapter 43-19.1. For example, the bill changes Engineer-in-Training to Engineer Intern. If you want to read the full text of the bill, it has been assigned as SB2268.
